The ingredients may get wet from the steam, the meats may release juice, if you experience this, wipe them dry with a paper towel. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C, bring some water to boil. Take the onions to the rings. Cut the lemon in half. Cut the pears lengthwise into articles and take out their core. Cut a pocket lengthwise into the chicken breasts and fill it with 2/3 of the blue cheese. The best way to cut out your pockets is to insert a sharp knife along its length. If you accidentally cut the chicken breasts, pin them with a toothpick.
Blance the cleaned brussels sprouts for approx. 4-5 minutes until still light greens and crisp. Put ice-cold water in a bowl, you can even put ice cubes in it. Take out the cooked brussels sprouts and put them in the ice water to stop the cooking process.
Season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat some olive oil in a pan and then put the stuffed chicken breasts in it. Broil on both sides just until it starts to whiten, then put into the oven for 15 minutes.
4. Kelbimbó + hagyma
Cut the chilled brussels sprouts in half lengthwise and put them together with the onions to the pan in which the chicken breasts are broiled. Roast the vegetables for 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. When it’s almost done, squeeze one half of the lemon onto it.
Wipe the pan. Melt the butter in the pan. Put the pears slices. Add a little salt and pepper. With frequent stirring, fry for 4 minutes or until light brown.
Remove the toothpicks from the chicken breasts before serving. It’s okay if the blue cheese has spilled a little from the chickens, sprinkle the brussels sprouts using sauce. When serving, sprinkle the remaining blue cheese with the brussels sprouts and serve with the pears next to the chicken breasts.
Enjoy your meal!
